This photo was taken after a 1,500 mile road trip in the US, as you can see the windscreen was covered with bugs, dirt and oily road residue. A Scrublade was fitted on the driver side and a standard factory wiper blade on the other. The results clearly speak for themselves.  

Driving at night with normal windscreen wipers adds even more risk as the headlights of oncoming traffic cause a glare of smeared bugs and water reducing visibility to dangerous levels. This puts you, as the driver, your passengers and other motorists at risk.
